1. I want to use your service. Please tell me more about your website.

We have created a detailed User Guide with images and descriptions for the main features provided. You can find it here.

2. Why don't you ask my email address or phone number during the signup process, as is usually the case with other websites?

Yes, indeed, we do not ask your email address or phone number during the signup process. We have chosen to do so, because we respect you and your privacy. We assume some of you don't want your personal data to be connected with your purchases or preferences in any way. In other words, you can sign up with us and track any price. And we won't have your personal data. On the other hand, not having your personal data, we won't be able to help you recover your lost password. We understand that it may be somewhat inconvenient, so, if you lose your password, we suggest you setup a new account to track the stuff you're interested in. Please also note that you can add your email address to your existing account. You can do it here. This will help you recover your account if you lose your password.

3. How do I change my account password?

You can change your account password here.

4. I forgot my account password. How do I get back to my account?

You won't be able to recover your password and get back to your account, if you didn't add your email address to the account after signing up on Pricearchive.org. Please see more details in paragraph 2 on this page. If you did add your email address to your account after signing up, you will be able to reset your account password on this page.

5. If I choose to track some price, I will have to specify my email adress or social media profile. How do you handle these data?

Not to worry, we do not sell or disclose your data and will not send you unwanted messages. We use your data for the intended purpose only: to send you a message if the price has dropped. Learn more about your personal data here.

6. How often will I receive price drop notifications?

You will receive one message for each item you track. You will get notified, when your tracked price matches the one you specified. You can track the price again, if you want.

7. How many items can I track simultaneously?

We now allow each registered user to track 1111 items simultaneously. It means, you can track 1111 items at the same time. There is no limit for the total number of items you may track. We set this limit to prevent abuse of our service. Please let us know, if you need to simultaneously track more than 1111 items

8. Do you sell the products that you show on your website?

No. We do not sell the products we show on our webpages. To buy, you need to go to the website of the corresponding online store.

9. I've found an item in the AliExpress.com online store. How do I use your website to track its price?

We now support price tracking for the following stores: AliExpress.com. If you have found an item in one of these stores, you can track it on this page.

10. May I use your website for free?

Yes, sure. Our website is free for all guests and users. To use our service, you don't need to pay anything to anyone.

11. Do you provide API access to the data shown on your website? Are your data purchasable?

No, we do not provide special access (including via API) to any data shown on the pages of our website. We do not sell these data.

12. Why product names on AliExpress are gibberish most of the times?

Our system is set to get the product names directly from the stores, for example, AliExpress.com. AliExpress.com uses automatic translation services for their product names. Automatic translators, as you can see, are not perfect, that's why you often see incongruous word combinations.

13. The main page of your website shows that the total amount of products is several million more than the number of products analyzed today. What is happening with these numbers?

"Total products" - it is the number of products that we have information about. Every day we analyze a certain number of products. But sometimes vendors stop selling their products. This may happen because the product is no longer manufactured, or, for example, because of the stock shortfall. We don't delete information in these cases, for you to check what was the price for these products last year. On top of that, vendor may start selling this product again, and we are going to track the information again. Moreover, everyday new products are released, and we start tracking new information. The difference between the total product number and the number of analyzed products is the result of this process.

14. I have a link to the product I am looking for on AliExpress.com. How do I find this product on your website?

There are several options for fast search of the products you need. Insert the full link to AliExpress.com product page in any of the search bar. That's the way it looks: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/.../32330002901.html. 32330002901 - a unique AliExpress.com product number. Each product has its number. You can only insert this number in the search bar on our website. In both cases, if we have information about the specified product, we are going to show it right away.

15. Some product prices for specific dates are missing on the price change graphic. Why?

This may happen because vendor doesn't sell the product anymore. That's why there is no information about this product. Also, we do our best to track price change for each specific product that we already have in our database. But due to certain limitations on the number and specification of requests that we perform daily, we can't track all the products every day. We do our best, but in this case, we don't take down product information, even though the product is available. And that is the reason why data is missing in the price change graphic. It doesn't happen often. We try to do everything possible to avoid this kind of situation.

16. Whether you are a participant of AliExpress.com affiliate program?

Yes, we are AliExpress.com affiliates. We place affiliate links on our website and when our users click it and make purchase we receive a certain fee from the store. This fee allows our service to remain free for users, and to cover the price for servers, software engineers, designers and all the people who are involved in developing Pricearchive.org.

17. I found what I was looking for on your website. After that I go to the store (for example, AliExpress.com) that sells it. But then I see that the product page doesn't exist. Why?

Thing is that we collect and store information about products. In time, some of the products are not being sold anymore. In this case we show the price change history on our website, but it doesn't exist anymore on the store website (for example, AliExpress.com), and you may see the notification that the webpage you are looking for is no longer available.
